CORDIO is delighted to announce its new Advisory Board. Three highly experienced, dynamic and committed marine conservationists join CORDIO’s Directors in guiding the organization for the next 4 years: Mr Ali Kaka (Kenya), Professor Peter Sale (Canada), and Mr Paul Rose (UK). They will play a key role as ambassadors, in fund raising and strategic direction.
We welcome them to CORDIO and the exciting and challenging conservation issues in the western Indian Ocean.

Mr. Ali Kaka is a well known and prominent conservationist in East and Southern Africa, and now serves on several Boards in East and Southern Africa, and Europe. Ali was born and raised in Mombasa, and received his Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado (Boulder), USA
Peter F. Sale is Distinguished University Professor (Emeritus) at University of Windsor, Canada, and a senior advisor to the United Nations University’s Institute for Water, Environment and Health, (UNU-INWEH, an international capacity building science organization based in Hamilton, Canada).
Paul Rose is at the front line of exploration and one of the world’s most experienced divers, field science and polar experts. He helps scientists unlock and communicate global mysteries in the most remote and challenging regions of the planet.
